Team
George’s area of focus as a clinician is in neurological rehabilitation and healthy aging.
He received a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McGill University in 2020. Currently, he is a physiotherapist and Patient Trajectory Manager at the Villa Medica Rehabilitation Hospital. His expertise also includes providing training to carers, care home staff and family members, as well as equipment prescription, and medico-legal consulting. Having worked with hospitals, rehab centres, CLSCs, and CHSLDs, he understands the importance of rehabilitation for a patient's quality of life.
Outside of his clinical work, George is an active member of his community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, the Centre d’Activités Récréatives et Éducatives, and the Services sociaux helléniques du Québec. He also teaches graduate-level modules on Parkinson’s Disease at the Université de Montréal.
Michael has clinical expertise in geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular/concussion rehabilitation.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Concordia University in 2018, and a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McGill University in 2020. He has worked in several settings including private clinics, hospitals, and rehabilitation centres. Currently, Michael works at the Constance-Lethbridge Rehabilitation Centre as a physiotherapist in the traumatic brain injury program. He uses an active and collaborative approach when treating his patients - focusing on exercise, education, and the promotion of healthy lifestyle habits - to foster a sense of autonomy and agency in his patients.
Michael also serves as a clinical educator as part of the McGill University Physiotherapy program and has a passion for mentoring students throughout their clinical rotations. In his spare time, Michael enjoys being outdoors, often finding himself hiking, camping, and fishing. He is also active in several sports including hockey, soccer, and softball.
